The Treasury Advisory team is a national team that helps clients solve issues ranging from governance and control, derivative financial control, developing effective hedge strategies, treasury set-up and implementation of treasury technology. This is often done in collaboration with other parts of PwC to ensure that by collaborating we make a difference to our clients.
As a Senior associate within the Treasury Advisory Team with a focus on Hedge Accounting and related valuations, your impact will be seen by:
Providing various Financial Instrument accounting and financial risk management services to our clients.
Playing a key role in building the profile of PwC in the financial risk marketplace.
Working collaboratively with other parts of PwC to resolve client issues, identify opportunities and deliver solutions.
About you
You have deep financial risk management knowledge with a background in sourcing and delivering various projects in these areas and managing teams.
Deep understanding of financial instrument accounting standards and associated valuations/modelling.
Experience with providing hedge accounting solutions including the associated valuations and modelling i.e. hedge effectiveness, hedge ineffectiveness.
Familiar with derivative products and associated valuations.
Ideally familiar with financial risk systems i.e. Reval, GTreasury, Integrity, Quantum.
Good understanding of financial risk i.e. FX, interest rates, commodities and liquidity, and the various derivative products.
Ideally has:
Consulting experience.
Knowledge of treasury operations.
