Join a market leading, top tier practice in Melbourne Collaborate and contribute to a successful and impactful team Opportunity to work on large, complex matters for a variety of clients The role We are seeking an experienced TMT Senior Associate to work in our growing Melbourne IP & Technology practice, focussing on technology procurement and advisory matters. The successful candidate will have strong skills and experience in technology projects and transactions (including business transformation, outsourcing and managed services), and ideally experience in advising on the technology related aspects of large infrastructure projects. Experience in telecommunications procurement will also be looked upon favourably.
Working with an established team dedicated to technology and telecommunications work, and forming part of a cohesive national practice group, you will be provided with the opportunity to work on significant, high-profile matters in both the private and public sector, in a collaborative and supportive environment. Candidates wishing to work on a full time or part time basis will be considered, and flexible working arrangements can be accommodated.
Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 5 years PQE with extensive experience in drafting and negotiating technology-related contracts in a private practice environment An interest in technology trends and the legal and regulatory issues arising from emerging technologies A strong academic record of achievement In addition to this, we are looking for someone who has:
