Role Overview
As a Senior/Associate Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading project teams in the delivery of the design and documentation of small to medium scale projects to client satisfaction. You will develop local networks and leverage them to bring in new project work while being the point of contact for client enquiries and queries.
Ideal Candidate
This role would be well suited to someone already performing a similar role, or an ambitious Structural Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have:
Circa 8+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer
Strong technical competence
Project management experience
The ability to lead small project teams of engineers and drafters
A good understanding of design and analysis of all structural materials
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Professional presentation and a good attitude
Compensation
In reward, you will be offered a salary package reflective of your responsibilities and commensurate with your skills and experience. At this stage, it is expected to fall between $120,000 and $150,000, however, it is naturally flexible for the right candidate. You will have exposure to business development and account management of existing accounts, making you an indispensable member of the team and a key asset.
