We ensure diversity is celebrated for the opportunity it provides us all to learn and grow, and deliver better outcomes for members.Your new roleThe Senior Associate, Strategic Sourcing, is a key member of AustralianSuper's Procurement team, and is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing, contracting and supplier strategies to ensure the Fund procures goods, services and solutions to meet current and future demands; that we purchase from the right third parties, at the right price, quality and in a timely manner and appropriately manage our supply chain risks. This role is a 12 month contract.In this critical role, you will lead our sourcing strategy, delivering cost savings while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.What you'll be doingDeveloping and executing innovative sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction goals.Managing and nurturing relationships with a diverse range of suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.Implementing risk mitigation strategies and ensuring all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations.Utilising data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize procurement processes.Being part of a high-performing team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.What you'll need10+ years' experience in a combination of commercial as well as management and/or strategy roles, with a proven track-record of success in leadership positions.Category management experience, e.g. Technology, Consulting, Investments, Professional Services, Property & Facilities, Data & Information Services, Marketing.Very good understanding of and experience in Source to Contract (S2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), Third Party Management (TPM) / Vendor Management / Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Modern Slavery, CPS234, SPS231 and other key Prudential Standards.Excellent experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing commercial decisions.Excellent experience in contractual negotiations resulting in demonstrable benefits.Excellent experience providing confident, rigorous and informed commercial and procurement advice and expertise in order to optimise outcomes.Experience with P&Ls, financial models, budgets and BI tools.Successful management of complex projects and to manage competing deadlines within tight timeframes.Life at AustralianSuperAustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
