This is a great opportunity for someone at the Senior Associate or Special Counsel level looking for better flexibility and autonomy in their role while retaining high quality work.Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel level lawyer to join a leading national insurance firm within their tight-knit public liability team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will work in a truly collegiate team, headed by several leading and respected Principals.The role will involve working with both local and international clients in the defence of simple and complex insurance claims (including multi-party claims and multi-jurisdictional claims). Additionally, this role will also involve working on property damage claims as well as assisting on coronial investigations and inquests.About youHold a current Australian practising certificate;5+ years of defendant insurance experience, although candidates moving across from a plaintiff focused background will also be considered;The ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;An ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners.In addition to offering market leading work, this firm also offers flexible working arrangements, additional leave, and health and wellness benefits.
