Brisbane Dispute Resolution & Litigation Legal Full time Are you an experienced litigation lawyer? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Brisbane. Do you have experience managing complex funded litigation and disputes, with an emphasis on class actions and large-scale corporate disputes? If so, this role offers the opportunity to lead complex cases and contribute to the strategic growth of our practice.
This role will see you working across a range of commercial litigation and related dispute matters. You will:
Lead work streams related to commercial litigation, including conducting thorough investigations, drafting pleadings, managing document discovery, taking witness statements and preparing evidence; lead and oversee the discovery process; manage trial preparation; provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance on a wide range of matters; lead general commercial disputes including contractual disputes, professional negligence and regulatory proceedings; and provide whole-of-project support and advice to the team. To succeed in this role, you will ideally have: Extensive experience in a wide variety of high-value commercial disputes and other litigation. At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally working in a team environment. Class actions or large-scale commercial disputes experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A proactive and collaborative approach to work. Our Team Our high performing, collegiate Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Brisbane is looking for a driven individual with commercial litigation experience to play a senior role in our team. Our reputation and growth in this area has been built on our proven ability to resolve large-scale, complex commercial litigation disputes, whether via court judgment or otherwise.
