Senior Associate/Special Counsel - Government CommercialWork on the largest ($B), most complex contracts in Australian Government history.
You'll be working across complex technology and materiel procurement and negotiation, strategic advice, commercial legal work, and major projects that are shaping Australia's future.

Approach Consulting have been engaged to help this high-performing boutique firm's Canberra-based commercial practice, dedicated to addressing Commercial Law matters in the Commonwealth Government. Reappointed to the Whole of Australian Government Legal Services Panel, this firm leverages its established networks and fantastic reputation to provide major Commonwealth agencies and departments with the highest quality Commercial Law services available.

Although national by description, this firm is a dark horse, punching well above its weight by securing some of the most high-profile work available in Australian Government history.

This role is Canberra based.
Work with one of Australia's leading Commercial law teams to Government.

Led by a top-tier partnership team with experience across technology and IP transactions as well as advising on major projects and strategic procurements across the Australian Government landscape, this role gives you direct exposure to how some of Australia's best Government lawyers operate.

Possessing a strong focus on attracting the best Commercial lawyers in Australia, this firm is committed to building their team with the right people, with partnership options available.

Does your background suit this role?
Ideally, you'll have 6+ years PQE experience as a commercial lawyer within a top tier or respected mid-tier environment, with particular emphasis on complex contracts and procurement. Commonwealth experience will be highly regarded but not required.

AGSVA clearance required. You must be an Australian citizen.
