About the Role An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Associate / Special Counsel to join our Brisbane office.
You will play a key role in supporting the Brisbane partners (and the broader national team) across the full range of our E&R practice.
This would include the negotiating and drafting of new resources and infrastructure joint ventures, the sale and purchase of major resources and energy assets, the development of new projects, and the negotiation and documentation of high value procurement and supply contracts, all whilst providing commercial and strategic advice to our clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, energetic, and commercially-minded senior lawyer to play a meaningful role in large-scale, high profile resources and energy transactions.
About You You are a commercially minded and client centric lawyer with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an aptitude for contract drafting.
Ideally, you will have some years of experience working in the E&R sector, but as an absolute minimum you will have other front-end experience at a leading firm and a strong interest in energy and resources (including traditional mining and oil & gas, but also energy and renewables).
But there is so much more to you.

5+ PQE transactional legal experience.Ideally you are looking for opportunities in Brisbane.
