We are currently working with a Brisbane-based firm on a their search for a Senior Associate or Salaried Partner to join their corporate/commercial practice.
This is a great opportunity for a senior level lawyer in the corporate space who is looking to take the next step in their career. This firm offers a friendly and collaborative team environment, joining a Partner who is interested in expanding their busy practice with another senior lawyer.
About the role
This firm offers genuine work/life balance while still maintaining a high quality of work. In this role, the successful candidate will be involved in a range of corporate/commercial matters including, but not limited to;
Business acquisitions and disposals;Corporate advisory and governance matters;Commercial contract preparation;Joint ventures; andWith several others in the team, you will be responsible for growing the practice while also mentoring juniors in the team. Additionally, you will work closely with the Partner on your own career development which will give you the opportunity to grow out your own client base.
About you At least 10 years of experience in corporate/commercial law;Hold a current Australian practising certificate;The ability to bring a client base is beneficial, but not necessary;And interest in mentoring junior lawyers on the team.
