About the role We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Associate to join our high-performing Public Law - Commercial team in Canberra.

In addition, you will be working with highly creative lawyers who are often market leaders in new areas of technology commercial work, such as cloud services and AI.
You will primarily be advising Australian government clients on a broad range of exciting ICT, government procurement and contracting, and commercial matters with a strong focus on ICT projects.
You will work on some of the most complex, high value, interesting, and nationally significant projects undertaken by governments.
We are therefore looking for someone to help us provide pragmatic and solutions-focused ICT, procurement, commercial advice, and high quality contract drafting to government agencies.
You will have a key role in supervising other lawyers in the team, contribute to business development activities, and generally support the partners in a genuine, innovative, and collaborative team environment.
About you We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience: 5+ years' experience as a commercial lawyer working with government clients Procurement and general commercial law experience Strong technical, analytical, drafting and research skills A collaborative and team-focused attitude Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills Motivated, with a keenness to learn and innovate A diverse and inclusive workplace: We have been named an employer of Choice for Gender Equality by the Workforce Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) every year since 2004 along with being named a Silver Employer at the Australian Workplace Equality Index's 2024 LGBTQ Inclusion Awards.
