You will be responsible for providing appropriate design solutions, documentation, and ensuring client requirements are achieved in a profitable and cost-efficient manner.As a part of a multidisciplinary group, you will also have the chance to work with colleagues in urban design, planning, survey, project management, business case professionals, heritage and environment specialists, to name a few.As a Landscape Architect, you will have exposure to the full scope of the landscape design process across various industry sectors with a strong focus on urban regeneration across Victoria, ACT, New South Wales, and Queensland with the opportunity to travel. You will work on exciting award-winning projects including:Newstead WaterfrontHarmony Town CentreABOUT THE JOBAssist in achieving a successful project from inception to delivery and ensuring client satisfaction through the on-time delivery of a quality product.Prepare plans and documents for projects, including:Computer-based plans (e.g., AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign)Hand-drawn sketch plansWritten reportsSpecificationsMonitor project progress, identifying potential issues and proactively assisting client managers in finding solutions.Assist client manager where required to ensure monthly invoices are completed on time and WIP is invoiced regularly.Stakeholder management internally and externally with clients, government subcontractors, sub-consultants, and industry bodies.YOU WILL HAVEA tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture (BBE) or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is preferred but not essential.Ideally, you will have 10+ years of previous experience in landscape architecture design within a professional practice.Professional services consultancy experience.Efficient user of relevant computer packages, i.e., AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop required.Comprehension of other computer packages such as Revit, Sketch-up, Lumion is advantageous.WHAT'S ON OFFERAlong with a competitive salary, RPS provides a diverse and inclusive work environment amongst an award-winning team of dedicated Landscape Design experts.
