Reporting to the General Counsel, you will support the business by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, preparing regulatory documentation, and managing the requirements of being a listed entity.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent time-management and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
The Senior Associate will work closely with the General Counsel and other members of the senior leadership team.
Position ResponsibilitiesContract review, drafting and negotiation across a wide range of areas and regions including procurement, operations and property leasing.Leading corporate transactions and commercial matters.
This will include managing mergers and acquisitions (from due diligence and drafting of transaction documents through to post-acquisition integration), and commercial and operational contracts.Proactively identifying legal risks to the business, and leading the development of controls, strategies, and solutions to mitigate those risks.Managing the business' contracts management system (High Q) ensuring all contracts are approved in accordance with the company policy and are entered correctly into the system.Provide timely and commercial day-to-day generalist legal advice on a variety of legal risk areas and business projects.Assisting with regulatory investigations, disputes and employment matters.Maintaining the business' ASIC registers and lodging ASIC forms as required from time to time.About YouMinimum of 3 years PAE, with in-house experience desirable but not essential.Proven experience reviewing and negotiating corporate transactions and commercial contracts.Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledgeable about the compliance requirements of ASX-listed entities.Exceptional skills managing relationships with senior stakeholders.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
