Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate Director to lead our Parramatta office in Sydney.
As a member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Parramatta office, managing a growing team of 19 staff, and driving the continued success and growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Parramatta office, including design and project management of significant Urban Development projects including responsibility for civil works specifications, engineering reports and tenders.
Manage staff workflows, resource allocation, and project assignments to ensure optimal productivity and performance.
Manage the delivery of all design aspects of a project on time and to standards.
Oversee and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to their professional development.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting a positive work environment where staff feel valued and motivated.
Undertake regular interface and liaisons with key clients and stakeholders.
Understanding of related safety in design practices and processes.
Maintain client relationships to develop long-term, sustainable working relationships which deliver repeat business.
About you:

A minimum of 15 years of civil design experience with at least 5 years of local experience.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve results in a competitive market.
Degree in Civil Engineering.
CPEng / NER accredited.
Proficient in 12D, DRAINS, MUSIC and AutoCad.
Experience working on urban development projects.
Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially report writing.
Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards.
