Senior Associate, Climate Finance Programs Employment Type: TemporaryEmployment Period: until 30 June 2026Classification / Grade / Band: Clerk Grade 9/10Remuneration: $125,693 - $138,510; plus, Superannuation and Leave LoadingLocation: Sydney CBD, Flexible & hybrid working options availableApplications Close: Wednesday, 27 November 2024 at 9:59amRole impact & contribution As a Senior Associate, you will manage the development, implementation, monitoring, improvement and evaluation of key projects within the Climate Finance Programs (CFP) Branch which are effective, innovative and meeting the government's priority objectives while demonstrating good value for public expenditure.
You will be joining our Financial Management and Services Group and will be working within the Climate Change and Balance Sheet Division.
What you can bring to the role The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
Strong knowledge of the operational requirements for the successful delivery of sustainability, climate change, resilience, adaptation and/or net zero emissions programs.Strong project management skills demonstrating the ability to deliver agreed outcomes on time, on budget, and to quality standards.Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.Proven ability to influence stakeholders to take action on delivering sustainability outcomes.Demonstrated ability to work independently, project manage complex engagements, communicate clearly and effectively (verbally and in writing).Proven experience and/or knowledge of sustainable finance frameworks, standards, taxonomies and concepts in a public or private sector role.Ability to adapt to and thrive in a continuously changing business and policy environment.Tertiary qualifications in economics, social policy, finance, law or other relevant areas are highly regarded.What can you expect from us The team you will join is made up of a diverse and welcoming group of people.
