This high performing and fun team are looking for a Senior Associate (4-8 years PQE) to join their team. We are looking for an experienced lawyer with a Banking & Finance background who has experience in the following: • Corporate Finance • Project Finance (on major renewable energy and infrastructure projects) • Property & Asset Finance • PPSA / securities law The Role This role provides the opportunity for technical development and career growth, and offers: Quality Work : You will have the chance to work on $bn mega projects and sophisticated financing transactions, while based in South Australia. Enviable client list: Sophisticated clients with major significant projects. This role would see you having direct contact with clients. Development and mentoring : Firm culture demonstrates our commitment to professional development supported by daily on-the-job support by an industry-leading Partner. On a day to day basis you will be: working on sophisticated transactions involving complex legal issues; reviewing and drafting finance documents including loan facilities, security trust deeds and personal property security documents; providing intelligent outcomes to clients on the full project lifecycle including project and contract structuring, compliance, planning, commercial negotiation strategy and operational matters; supporting the development and training of junior lawyers in the practice group; and participating in client attraction, retention and practice development. About You To be successful for this role, you will ideally: have 4-8 years experience in a banking and finance, or project finance team; demonstrate excellent technical and analytical skills; demonstrate a strong interest in projects or banking & finance; be able to identify and communicate commercial and legal risks; have excellent verbal and written communication skills; be self motivated; and have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
