Due to significant growth in their client base, they are looking to grow their dispute resolution division in Gold Coast.
To succeed in this role, you are a commercial litigator with experience practising in Australia and are keen to grow your practice in the Gold Coast.
About the Senior Associate / Associate (Commercial Litigation) Role:
Reporting to the Partner, the successful candidate will be handling a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic advice to corporate clients and high-net worth individuals.Handle a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation matters including areas of contractual and corporate disputes, regulatory investigations, building & construction, insolvency, and property.Draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and court papers alike.Brief counsels, manage clients and witnesses, and attend court.Key Requirements: Admitted as a solicitor with practising rights in Australia.Between 2 and 10 years of PQE in dispute resolution.Experience practising in Queensland is preferred (candidates with interstate disputes experience who are keen on relocating to the Gold Coast are encouraged to apply).Good academics.Possess sound technical knowledge of court procedures and rules.Good communication and interpersonal skills.If you are interested in a commercial litigation role and want to practice at a reputable and established law firm in the heart of Gold Coast, this is the role for you.
