Key Responsibilities:
Subject to partner supervision, communicates effectively with clients and colleagues. Maintains regular contact and builds effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
Quickly develops a sound understanding of the commercial context of the legal services sought by the client, the client's business and their critical success.
Combines technical excellence with pragmatic commercial advice to partners advising clients on legal issues, opportunities and risk.
Knowledge and Experience:
Is a technical expert in the relevant area of law in a foreign jurisdiction and is developing a sound working knowledge of the relevant laws in the Australian jurisdiction.
Experience drafting detailed advices, court documents and other relevant legal documentation on litigious issues.
Experience negotiating on behalf of clients in relation to legal matters.
Experience running litigious matters through the life cycle of the matter.
