Senior Assistant Broker

Our client, based in Queensland, is seeking a Senior Assistant Broker to join their team in this down-to-earth general insurance brokerage.

As a Senior Assistant Broker, you will be supporting a Senior Broker in this fully remote, WFH role. This position is ideal for an experienced individual who thrives in an autonomous work environment, while offering valuable assistance in managing SME to Large SME clients.

About YouYour several years of experience working as either an SME broker, or providing support to an SME broker with exposure to Farm / Agriculture are highly valued. Your expertise enables you to quickly identify what's needed, making you and the Senior Broker an effective team to support the existing clients and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
Your deep knowledge of general insurance comes from several years in broking.You have completed your Tier 1 qualification (Insurance Broking).You love working as a team and you're experienced at supporting a portfolio of SME clients.Knowledge of rural or agri business would be ideal.You can work autonomously, providing confident and clear communication.You're a natural when it comes to planning, organising and getting things done. The RoleYou'll provide regular follow-ups to new client enquiries.Build and nurture client relationships.You will seek out client expectations and assess their insurance needs.Working with the Senior Broker you'll refine well-defined systems and processes.You will work in partnership with the Senior Broker to ensure accuracy of all data.
