This position will be based in our head office in Brisbane with the option to work from home one day per week.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Oversee the establishment and continuous improvement of the EDL electrical asset management system which includes asset identification, establishment of asset hierarchies, establishment of maintenance strategies, and the translation of those strategies into executable maintenance instructions. Key responsibilities include developing the maintenance specification in our Asset Management System. As the electrical maintenance subject matter expert, provide technical advice and collaborate across the central Technical Services and Operations teams to ensure the optimal use of our assets.

Person Specification:

Demonstrated relevant experience in heavy industry within maintenance and reliability engineering, with significant involvement in reliability and maintenance management.

Previous experience with asset hierarchy and asset strategy development and implementation, including FMEA/FMECA, RCM and PM Optimisation processes.

Experience facilitating workshops and discussions with stakeholders.

Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Passionate about enabling the safety and success of operational personnel.

Able to develop and implement systems and processes to ensure effective maintenance specifications are rolled out across sites.

Familiar with application of electrical and fire systems maintenance industry standards and statutory requirements.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Self-motivated and proactive.

Qualifications and Experience:

Electrical engineering degree with a minimum of 8 years' experience following graduation.

Current or eligible for CPEng and RPEQ.

Experience with asset strategy management and maintenance management system applications.

Asset management and operations support experience in Power Generation, Mining, or Oil and Gas highly desirable.
