About the Role: As the Senior Asset Improvement Engineer you will be accountable for the execution of strategic Life of Asset programs (control systems, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
Your role will primarily focus on setting up long term shareholder value by developing strategies which extract maximum utilisation and efficiency from our assets.
Primary responsibilities for this role are; Develop and manage medium-long term asset management plans for plant assets to achieve business objectives (Safe, Quality, Low Cost, Sustainable, Production) Prepare and effectively administer budgets for projects/programs and identify opportunities for reducing costs.
Execute change management processes when required Supports Operations in project execution by completing maintainability analysis and operational readiness activities Project Management and execution of asset improvement and asset integrity projects (multi-discipline engineering) projects Complete life cycle costing analysis of plant assets to determine the optimum whole of life asset strategy Provide Technical support to Maintenance Write scopes for tender where change a change in maintenance strategy is involved Align CMMS and Inspection Records database, support planning processes Monitor quality of inspection and manage standards for compliance Ensure the optimal reliability of plant by effectively implementing asset management and maintenance improvement programs Define, review and approval of preventative maintenance program About you: Hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification, or equivalent experience in asset management which covers preventative and life of asset management strategies.
