Senior Asset Analyst DCS Clerk Grade - Grade 9/10 starting from $120,859 - $133,183 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loadingEmployment Type: Ongoing, Full-timeHybrid including approved DCS work locationsThis role sits within the Asset Management function within the NSW Telco Authority DivisionAbout NSW Telco Authority NSW Telco Authority (NSWTA) operates and manages the Public Safety Network to deliver radio communications for frontline responders. We work with emergency services and telecommunications carriers to protect communications assets during emergencies and natural disasters. NSWTA is a delivery agency with responsibility for over $1.5 billion in key NSW Government projects that connect communities and support emergency services. We lead and coordinate whole-of-government connectivity strategy to bridge the digital divide and help keep people and places safe. NSWTA operates as a standalone Statutory Authority within the Department of Customer Service. We promote flexibility and we will consider part time, job share and other flexible arrangements. About the team The Asset Management team provides guidance and direction to improve the cost, risk and performance of Telco assets. We partner with stakeholders across the organisation and externally, in operations, maintenance, CCEP and finance to support the delivery of the PSN network. Asset management forms an integral part of the process and procedures we follow, the data we retain and manage, and the strategies and plans we execute. We develop and provide strategic advice to optimise asset performance and value by providing customers with high quality asset management investment plans and strategies. We also maintain the technical asset register.
Your day-to-day Complete the analysis of existing systems, applications and functionsResearch to identify trends and assist in determining business prioritiesCoordinate and complete regular management and dashboard reportsFormulate asset financial analysis, asset budget estimates and total expenditure planningBuild and strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders; understand their services, support collaboration, exchange information, manage issues and enhance customer experienceContribute to the identification of ways to improve the efficiency and reliability of products and servicesTo be successful in this role you will demonstrate: Strong experience in financial analysis and supporting multiple projectsStrong research and analytical skillsAbility to identify and create data in various formats for analysis and visualisationDemonstrable ability to work to deadlines and balance competing needsExperience in financial statements and reportsHigh attention to detail and strong analytical skillsAbility to self-manage & work independently under directionWhat we need from you: An up-to-date CV and a brief cover letter outlining how your skills and experience are aligned to the role.
