About The Organisation: The organisation regulates vocational education and training in Australia, ensuring quality education.It fosters a positive workplace culture and collaborates with stakeholders to continuously improve the training sector.About the Role: We are seeking motivated and dedicated professionals to join our team in enhancing the quality and integrity of Australia's vocational education and training initiatives.As an APS6 Senior Assessment Officer , you will play a critical role in regulatory compliance, policy interpretation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.Location:   Adelaide, SA Contract Duration: 12 Months Qualifications & Requirements: Australian Citizenship.Successful applicants will undergo pre-employment checks and obtain a Baseline security clearance (minimum, depending on the role).Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines are highly desirable.Mandatory qualifications apply to some roles in the Regulation and Compliance job family – see details below Key Responsibilities: Interpret, apply, and make recommendations based on policy, legislation, and regulatory standards.Provide advice to and engage with key stakeholder groups to negotiate and resolve issues.Develop and maintain relevant technical knowledge and address capability gaps.Support strategic planning and performance reporting that underpin the agency's corporate planning.Conduct research and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making.Work collaboratively with other areas within the organisation.Prepare project plans, evidence-based briefings, and draft reports.Monitor work quality to ensure alignment with required standards.Maintain and update records and registers in compliance with relevant requirements.Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.Keep senior staff informed, escalate issues, and propose solutions based on sound judgement and an understanding of priorities.Assist in managing team workloads, including assigning tasks, monitoring quality, and addressing complex queries.Provide guidance and quality assurance to team members.Contribute advice and input on projects as required.Ideal Candidate Profile Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in relevant areas, with the ability to guide team members.Strong analytical thinking skills, including the ability to identify high-quality evidence and evaluate options, benefits, and risks.High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes on time.Ability to work independently, showing confidence, initiative, and drive.Highly developed oral and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly and concisely.Collaborative approach to teamwork, with the ability to resolve problems and negotiate solutions with stakeholders."For further information or a confidential conversation about the  APS6 Senior Assessment Officer , select 'APPLY NOW' or contact Alyanna Ensenado at 0261137521.Your inquiry is valued and will be handled with care."
