This role offers the opportunity to lead and work collaboratively with the team across a diverse range of projects, with a focus on the Multi-Residential and Commercial sectors.About the roleAs a registered Architect, you possess strong design and documentation skills and have an in-depth understanding of the details and technical knowledge required in the delivery of multi residential and commercial projects. You are curious and consider the big picture yet are also resourceful and thrive on problem solving and workshopping innovative design solutions within a team environment.As a motivated and proactive professional, you will confidently and effectively communicate with clients, consultants and other stakeholders.In your role as a project leader, you will be the first point of contact for clients, provide guidance to team members and actively contribute to the resourcing and financial management of your projects. In conjunction with managing the various stakeholders, you will also be able to manage a small project team.You will actively seek to develop skills through attendance and participation in learning events including training and briefing sessions run by the practice and completing necessary requirements to maintain registration with the Architects Board.You have strong written, verbal and graphic presentation skills. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to be working across several projects and stages concurrently. Above all, you have a passion for design and you will seize the opportunity to lead a team through all project stages, engage in our collaborative studio community and drive unique design solutions.Skills and experienceOutstanding design and presentation skills which can be translated through Feasibility, Sketch Design, Design Development and Construction Documentation packagesConfidently lead multiple projects simultaneously, including managing a project team, client deliverables, brief, budget and timelinesHighly proficient in preparation of all documentation, leading tender processes, on-site construction services and providing direction to team membersExtensive local experience across a range of residential and commercial projects from inception to completionProven consultant coordination and client management skillsExcellent technical, construction and regulatory knowledgeAdvanced REVIT experience is essentialProficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageousPersonal qualities and behavioural traitsExceptional ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levelsCultivate existing and new client relationshipsExcellent communication and people management skills with a collaborative approachStrong organisational and time management skillsA keen eye for details and solutions focusedHow to applyMust be eligible to live and work in AustraliaPlease submit a cover letter, CV and portfolioOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified for an interview
