The Senior Architect will perform all phases of architectural work including client liaison, project planning, design and documentation, as well as business development and mentoring junior members of the team, with potential to progress into a Principal role.You must be a registered Architect who is passionate about delivering positive outcomes for the community.Key Responsibilities:Meet client expectations and ensure successful outcomes by providing functional, inspirational and sustainable design.Manage each project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional designMeet with clients on a regular basis to address their project needsPrepare feasibility reports and design proposalsDevelop ideas keeping in mind client's needs, the use of the building and environmental impactProduce detailed documentation for tender and constructionManage and adhere to project budgets and timelinesEnsure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulationsMentor and act as a guide for junior members of the team.Maintain close working relations with clients in Local and State Government, identifying suitable business growth opportunities for COMPLETE.Ensure that all matters relating to contracts, administration and project scheduling are met and that any issues are quickly resolved with minimum distraction.Manage and coordinate sub-consultantsQualifications:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture7 years post graduate experienceRegistration with AIACommunity focused work experience, and local government relationships would be considered an advantageSkills:Strong communication and project management skillsStrong skill and familiarity with design software (ArchiCad, AutoCad, Revit Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3D graphics packages)Creativity and the ability to think and plan in three dimensionsExcellent building construction knowledgeVisual awareness and an eye for detailIf you envisage an exciting, challenging and rewarding career with COMPLETE please apply.For more information about working with us, please see completeurban.com.au/careersPlease note, COMPLETE Urban is a private advertiser.
