With a focus on providing a higher level of client service, we achieve holistic and innovative design outcomes through the integration of architectural and interior design inputs throughout the design and documentation processes.The OpportunityWe are seeking a talented Senior Architect with minimum 10 years experience to join our friendly team. As a senior team member you will work closely with Company Directors and play a key role leading and managing project teams, liaising with clients, consultants and contractors to deliver a diverse range of architectural projects varying in scale and complexity. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design process and play a leadership role in the preparation and coordination of documentation and provide advice during construction. With a number of projects underway and a strong pipeline of future work and opportunities for progression within AMC, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced architect to make their mark within a supportive and collaborative environment.Key responsibilities include:Liaise effectively with key stakeholders throughout all project stages including clients, subconsultants, planning authorities and building contractors.With the support of Project Directors, manage the execution of a project from initiation through to completion ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality architectural services.Together with Project Directors and other senior team members, plan project resources and deliverables and provide input to inform future workflow.Support the preparation of proposals, negotiating fees and terms of engagement.Contribute to, and assist in the delivery of strategic initiatives.Assist in the professional development of other staff within the practice.Experience + QualificationsMin. 10 years experience.Architectural Registration will be highly regarded.Strong time management and organisational skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Good technical expertise and working knowledge of the NCC/BCA and Australian Standards.Ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.Experience with Revit and/or BIM will be highly regarded.Proficiency in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign will be highly regarded.Applicants must be Australian Citizens.
