Pets Country Club in Lara is searching for an experienced Animal Attendant and Customer Service Superstar to elevate our exceptional pet care team.
In this role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art pet care facility and doggy daycare, ensuring our furry guests receive the highest standards of care and safety.
You'll also be the friendly face welcoming our human clients, delivering our Award-Winning Customer Service!
What You'll Be Doing: Lead with Confidence: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our dedicated pet care and daycare attendants, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service.Monitor and Enrich: Keep a watchful eye on the well-being and behaviour of all animals, implementing appropriate interventions and engaging enrichment activities.Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records for each pet's stay, including feeding, medication, and any incidents or observations.Client Relations: Assist with the admission and discharge of pets, managing check-in/check-out procedures and maintaining clear communication with clients.Sanitation and Safety: Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all pet care facilities, play areas, and equipment.Develop Policies: Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs and policies for our pet care team.Exceptional Customer Service: Address client concerns and questions promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive memorable experience.What We're Looking For: Proven Leadership: Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in the pet care or animal welfare industry.Animal Expertise: Strong knowledge of animal behaviour, breed traits, pet health, and best care practices.Motivational Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and train your team.Top-Notch Communication: Outstanding customer service skills, with a passion for creating exceptional experiences for clients and their pets.Detail-Oriented: Proficient in maintaining detailed records and reporting.Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.Certification: Certificates III, IV or Diploma in Animal Care, Animal Care Services, Veterinary Nursing or Animal Technology would be highly regarded but not compulsory.
