Base pay rangeA$800.00/daily - A$900.00/daily
We are looking for a Senior Android developer to join our ASX listed, Financial Services client. They have a strong brand in the market and a good pipeline of new projects coming through.
You will be building new features, rearchitecting some of the existing code bases, and taking ownership of key sections of their products.
In this role, you will:Contribute to the architecture of new and existing features of their multiple Android appsWork with product teams to help shape new initiativesWork collaboratively with other engineers in the team, as well as product and designTake ownership and responsibility for maintenance of product featuresWhat we're looking for:5+ years of developing native Android applicationsSignificant Kotlin and Android Studio experienceExposure to working with REST APIsExperience with Android UI themes, styles, and attributesExperience with SQLite or persistence technologies would be beneficialProficiency with Git/GithubUnderstanding of security best practicesExceptional candidates will have:A keen eye for interaction design and finishing touchesStrong ability to learn new technology and processesCompetent in writing unit testsExperience with CI / CDIf this role sounds of interest to you, please apply and we'll contact you for a confidential discussion ASAP!
