Role Overview:
As a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer specializing in Coal Handling with expertise in pump and pipe systems, you will play a pivotal role in our client's engineering projects.
Your focus will be on design management, where you will lead and mentor a team of engineers, oversee design processes, and engage directly with clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
We also need candidates to have extensive experience using Inventor.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership: Lead the development of complex coal handling projects, ensuring excellence in design, efficiency, and safety.
Your expertise in pump and pipe systems will be instrumental in achieving project success.
Team Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and guide for our engineering team, fostering their growth and technical development.
Your experience will be invaluable in nurturing talent within our organization.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs, offering innovative solutions, and ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Design Management: Oversee the entire design process, from conception to execution, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency throughout.
Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing project outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in coal handling design, with a focus on pump and pipe systems.
Proven track record in design management, demonstrating leadership and successful project delivery.
Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software.
