Senior Analytical Scientist (24 month fixed-term contract)JOB SUMMARYAs an experienced Senior Analytical Scientist, you will be responsible for overseeing stability studies for vitamins, minerals, and nutritional supplements.
The role requires technical expertise in analytical testing, including wet chemical testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements for product re-registration in international markets.LOCATION: Melbourne, VICBENEFITSProfessional development opportunities within a growing organisation.Fantastic facilities on site for employee use.Opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and compliance.ROLE/DESCRIPTIONOversee the analysis of samples using current methods and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.Conduct analyses with accuracy and scientific integrity, ensuring compliance with audit standards.Provide technical expertise to ensure all activities align with GMP requirements and company quality assurance systems.Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.Prepare technical documentation, reports, and data using Microsoft Word and Excel.Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational processes and compliance.Apply wet chemical testing methods in stability studies, ensuring they are carried out with scientific accuracy and integrity.REQUIREMENTS:Chemistry degree or relative field.3-5 years of experience in stability studies and/or a similar position.Experience in wet chemical testing is favourable.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to diverse audiences.Proven ability to analyse data, solve problems, and generate detailed technical reports.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.Ability to perform tasks such as sitting, standing, walking regularly, and occasionally lifting up to 20 kg.Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.ABOUT i-PHARM CONSULTINGi-Pharm Consulting is a specialist recruitment company servicing the global Life Sciences industry.
