Senior Analytical Chemist (Hplc-Ms)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analytical Chemist to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Gold Coast, QLD. As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will play a key role in our analytical testing operations, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our results.Role Description:As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of analytical tests using advanced techniques such as HPLC-MS. You will also be involved in maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, conducting quality control checks, calibrating instruments, and preparing comprehensive reports of your findings. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate results to stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Perform analytical tests using HPLC-MS, ICP-MS, GC-FID, and other laboratory equipment.Maintain and troubleshoot HPLC-MS and other laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.Conduct sample preparation, including pipetting and other laboratory skills.Develop and validate analytical methods to meet the business requirements.Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and standards.Train and mentor junior staff members.Calibrate laboratory equipment as needed.Prepare detailed reports of analytical findings.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the laboratory.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.Experience in handling and operating various laboratory equipment, particularly HPLC-MS.Proficient in laboratory skills such as pipetting and sample preparation.Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.Experience in a GMP environment is preferred.Familiarity with FDA, TGA, and APVMA regulations is a plus.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
