Numbers Executive is pleased to support a large, diversified institution with the appointment of a Senior Analyst, Transactions to their Corporate Finance & Business Development team.
A key support to a new, exciting and innovative growth strategy, the Senior Analyst will support more senior team members with the evaluation and execution of a series of M&A and greenfield development projects.
The opportunity
Playing a key role in the execution workstream of several live M&A and financing transactions, the Senior Analyst will support the broader team with the development (and oversight) of financial models, the undertaking of due diligence, oversight of the transaction pipeline and management of various internal and external stakeholders.
Working in a dynamic, multidimensional team, the Senior Analyst will be competent in working cross-functionally and with external advisors whilst fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success.
Required skills and experience
Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline, it is likely the successful candidate will have also completed (or partially completed) postgraduate studies in finance or accounting (e.g CA, CPA, CFA, GradAppFin).
Furthermore, applicants will demonstrate foundational experience in a corporate finance environment (advisory, corporate landscape or fund manager) where they have developed sound financial modelling and valuation experience, ideally with exposure to real asset transactions, projects and investments.
Strong commercial acumen, problem-solving and relationship management skills will be key determining factors of this appointment.
