About the team The team is responsible for the day-to-day management, development and monitoring of the various risk, compliance and quality management functions within the firm and the provision of advice in respect to these functions.
This includes administering, designing, implementing, supporting, training, monitoring and advising on risk management, compliance management, independence and quality management across all practice areas of the firm, as well as supporting Pitcher Partners Network Firms.
About the role The role is best suited to someone with experience in external or internal audit, looking to build on their audit background in a non-client facing role.
This is a broad role which primarily assists in the day-to-day management of risk, quality management and compliance across a large and diverse firm of over 750 employees.
Working in an experienced and growing Risk and Compliance team, the role will have a strong focus on the risk management and compliance functions of the firm, including monitoring of the firm's system of quality management.

Key responsibilities Active participation in undertaking risk reviews as directed by the Risk Committee and/or Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, including testing the effectiveness of controls, compliance with established policies and controls and the development of recommendations arising from the risk reviews Assisting in the development, training and maintenance of firm policies designed to manage overall quality and compliance, including the interpretation of laws and non-technical accounting standards that affect the firm Assisting in the development and ongoing maintenance of business Risk Registers Supporting the Director of Independence and Quality with all aspects of the System of Quality Management including monitoring of client acceptance and continuance procedures and related reporting Assisting in the compilation and analysis of data for, and preparation of, annual insurance submissions and forms Assisting with the administration of regulatory, industry, professional body and licensee portals and reporting, maintenance of internal registers, and monitoring of internal controls Assisting in the following functions: interpreting changes in legislation, conducting file and banking reviews, maintaining compliance registers, conducting applicable compliance functions, dealing with regulators and professional bodies and monitoring the controls environment Who we're after Here are the some of the key qualifications, skills and personal attributes we're looking for.
