The opportunity
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the real estate investment sector?
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our team and drive our origination strategy. In this role, you will monitor economic, regulatory, and residential sector conditions to identify new opportunities and manage risk. You will manage the collation of market intelligence and strategic research to formulate and regularly update a targeted, demand-led national acquisition strategy. Additionally, you will review and contribute to the annual asset class review, ensuring our strategies remain robust and effective.
As a Senior Analyst, you will also lead transaction due diligence, reviewing and interrogating complex financial models from prospective joint venture partners. You will conduct detailed financial modelling of property and capital level inputs, making recommendations on deal structures based on opportunity, risks, and sensitivity analysis. Your role will assist with managing external consultants for independent due diligence and preparing detailed project plans and investment memoranda for asset consultant review and Board approval. Furthermore, you will participate in the monitoring of joint venture investments, manage the procurement of independent valuations, and assist with internal and external reporting, including preparing Board papers and ad hoc reports as required.

About you
Are you equipped with advanced financial modelling skills and have a solid understanding of residential property development and finance fundamentals? We are seeking an individual who can navigate the complexities of residential property development risks, acquisition pricing, and deal structuring. Your strategic capabilities, including a drive to deliver results, business acumen, and sound judgment, will be crucial in this role.
We are looking for a candidate who upholds high ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in business and commercial dealings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Estate Master software, including Development Feasibility, Development Management, and Corporate Consolidate modules, is essential. Strong interpersonal and networking skills, along with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, are also crucial for this role.
