Rabobank's COO Domain's Enterprise Remediation Team is responsible for managing & ensuring the accuracy of its regulatory reporting (FATCA/CRS/AIIR/annual statements). We currently have an opening for a Regulatory Reporting Senior Analyst to join this dynamic & high performing team. Based in Sydney, you will work a hybrid mix of 2 days in the CBD office & other days working from home.
Working as an integral part of Rabobank's Remediation & regulatory reporting team, the Senior Analyst, Regulatory Reporting works to successfully plan, manage & deliver the Bank's regulatory reporting in a timely manner.
The Senior Analyst, Regulatory Reporting ensures that all reporting is delivered in a timely, accurate, well managed & customer-focused manner, aligned to Rabobank's overarching mission & values. This role involves equal parts strategy & tactical work that requires a creative approach to problem solving, collaboration & a consultative approach to leveraging stakeholder relationships. In this role, you will draw upon both business analysis & data analysis skills.
Top Role Accountabilities:Resolve reporting issues including operational risks, audit points & compliance requirements that arise are adequately identified, assessed & mitigated with controls.Identify system & corresponding data objects to be analysed for deriving business insights in relation to investigating a specific business opportunity, data quality issue or a business change.Work as part of a team to understand & document project scope & objectives, facilitate workshops to define & prioritise requirements, agree on outcomes & risks.Identify business needs & develop solutions which meet stakeholders' needs.Ensure suitable test cases are developed & assist the business users with testing of changes to systems/process, & management of defects & reporting as required.Develop & document end-to-end process maps including critical data elements linkages to reporting.Perform requirements traceability of requirements artefacts, ensuring that this is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.Lead the creation, management & distribution of key documentation, plans, reports, correspondence & briefings via necessary meetings, e.g. business case development.Own the capture of backlogged deliverables, supporting Head of in prioritisation of features.Own the creation of project schedules, monitoring & reporting on progress.To be successful in the role, you will have:A minimum of 5 years' experience with experience in banking & finance with direct responsibility for managing complex customer situations & high-risk activities.Proven experience in a role covering documentation, facilitation, data discovery/sources, data analysis including data quality & reporting in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Excellent coordination skills, with an ability to bring people &/or tasks together to achieve outcomes.Experience in the resolution of reporting issues including operational risks, audit points & compliance requirements that arise are adequately identified, assessed & mitigated with controls.Highly developed analytical & information management skills.Experience working on multiple projects either autonomously or within a program level project.A working understanding of project management methodologies.Knowledge of global compliance regulations & practices.Knowledge of risk management strategies.Rabo@Anywhere is our hybrid way of working at Rabobank & for Australia, that means we have a blend of time working between the office & home.
