Exciting new opportunity for an Application Analyst with Java skills to join a highly-anticipated project
Role overview
This role will have a focus on an exciting new project in the centre of Perth for a 2-year fixed-term. You will be involved with software application integration, configuration, management, maintenance, development, and support.
Your new role
In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise to drive the successful delivery of software projects across the organisation, working collaboratively with other key project staff. You'll handle the technical aspects of engagements with vendors and Managed Service Providers, which includes preparing work scopes, managing hosted solution support, reviewing work orders, and producing solution designs in a multi-site cloud environment. Your strong communication skills will be crucial as you provide technical advice to other teams, acting as an escalation point for technical challenges. Lastly, you'll work closely with strategic stakeholders to support with project estimation and solution design.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience of integrating, configuring, managing, maintaining, developing, and supporting software applications. This role requires familiarity with a variety of platforms, including on-premises and outsourced ones, such as hosted, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS) in a hybrid Cloud environment. You will have approximately five years of experience in roles involving application management, support, delivery, and development within a mid-sized organisation and experience of software development, with a focus on using APIs and Java.
