About the team Part of the broader BDO international network with 100,000+ employees worldwide and 2,500 corporate finance professionalsMid-Market M&A Financial Adviser of the Year finalist (2024) – Australia (Mergermarket)No 1 Most active M&A Advisor globally by deal count (2023) (Pitchbook)About the Role As a Senior Analyst, your primary responsibility is to assist in the delivery of M&A projects on a day-to-day basis including sell side and buy side advisory and build strong ongoing client relationships. You'll have developed deal experience and knowledge across a number of industries including technology (software and services) and manufacturing. You will:
Execute engagements, which includes preparing pitch documents, company valuations, information memorandums, prospective buyer lists, building 3-way financial models, undertaking in-depth analysis of company information including financial statements and industry research.Work closely with the rest of the M&A team around strategy and business development.Act as an ambassador of the firm, participate in marketing events and keep abreast of the wide range of services the firm offers.Contribute to BDO M&A national team activities.About You The candidate we're looking for has solid work experience in corporate finance ideally gained within a professional services environment. You pride yourself on your strong work ethic and are passionate about adding value.

Direct experience with M&A and/or investment analysisBackground in another leading accounting or boutique advisory firm, private equity, investment banking or in industry corporate development rolesCA and/or CFA qualifications or similarHigh level communication and presentation skills – including writing and research skillsWhy BDO?
