About the Team & the Position The Customer Engagement & Services Division is accountable for coordinating Stakeholder/Customer engagement and communications for the Digital Division, providing Service Desk support to internal and external Customers, including End User IT Support for internal Customers, and provision and coordination of key IT Service Management capabilities, including Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity, Performance, Availability and Continuity, Monitoring and Event Management, Knowledge Management, Service Design, Service Level and Catalogue Management, Software and Hardware Asset Management and Risk Management.
Ensure that AEMO's Production and Pre-production environments have the necessary resiliency, redundancy, and recoverability so their availability is assured in accordance with business requirements.
Role dimensions also include training, communication and embedding and integrating the IT Service Continuity and Lifecycle Management framework and processes with other Service Management and technical processes across the lifecycle.
Position Responsibilities Lead the management and hygiene of all organization-wide business continuance, and disaster recovery plans, processes, and teams that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology.
Conduct risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations.
Annually review and update the Digital service continuity and lifecycle management frameworks, procedures and plans being developed, documented, and implemented.
Lead and manage the execution of IT service & business continuity tests for AEMO's critical systems that demonstrate component level failover capabilities.
Responsibility for AEMO's site transfer activities, including monthly site transfer planning meetings, pre and post review meetings and reporting on continuity effectiveness.
Coordinate all enterprise lifecycle asset management strategic planning sessions using the Strategic Asset Management Framework.
Co-manage the creation, socialisation, and endorsement of the AEMO Digital Asset Lifecycle Plan for the targeted financial years.
Provide detailed and specific advice regarding continuity and lifecycle processes and practices to the organisation's planning, design, and operations functions.
Conducts formal annual reviews for continuity and lifecycle domains.
Collate, collect, and analyse practice outputs for the inclusion into continuous improvement plans.
Position Requirements Skills & Experience: Knowledge of IT Service Continuity Management global trends and best practices Knowledge of IT Asset Lifecycle Management global trends and best practices Broad understanding of Asset Management and Lifecycle principles Broad understanding of Business Continuity and IT Service Continuity principles Thorough knowledge of integration of ITIL processes Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through effective negotiation skills across all levels.
Working knowledge of Service Management platforms.
