The Senior Finance Analyst, Technology will provide additional analytical support to the Technology & Operations Finance team during a period of increased workload driven by the Bank sale.
What you'll do
Ensure timely and accurate close of monthly results in required function and processes.
Ensure development of regular expense forecasts, and budgets during budget build periods.
Deliver management information including insightful commentary on operating expenses, capital expenditure and FTEs in an efficient and effective manner.
Provide proactive financial advice to the Technology & Operations teams to facilitate informed decisions.
Perform analytical reviews of contract renewals and project financials where required.
Work collaboratively across immediate team and wider stakeholders.
Build relationships with key stakeholders. Be seen as a trusted and respected advisor.
Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency of BAU activities in order to unlock further capacity during peak periods.
Be an active member of the Finance & Advice Community, contributing to the attainment of the team's objectives and plans.
Work closely with the Manager, T&O & Partnering Finance with respect to all activities and as directed.
What you'll bring
Professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA), Certified Practising Accountants Australia (CPA) – Desired.
Experience in business partnering, performance management or a financial performance & analysis role.
Experience in multi-team collaboration.
Experience in a finance role in a medium to large financial services organisation.
Experience in and knowledge of finance systems.
