In this uniquely dynamic environment, you're encouraged to embrace a challenge and build your experience every day.Senior Analyst Demand Supply & PlanningThis role plays a pivotal part in managing the demand and supply planning of expendables, consumables, and recoverables by creating precise part forecasts, optimizing inventory levels, and providing strategic order recommendations.
The role also oversees inventory management and transactions at Line stations, ensuring seamless operations while effectively managing stakeholder communication to align objectives and expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive 12-month rolling forecast plans.Accurately forecast maintenance part usage through historical analysis and deterministic planning.Ensure all items are effectively configured in SUPPLY and SPM systems.Identify essential customer, fleet, and market insights that influence forecasting strategies.To Be Successful You Will Possess2 to 5 years of supply chain experience, preferably in planning, purchasing, or repair.HSC but degree qualified preferred (business, engineering, science, accounting, economics).Extensive experience and knowledge in supply chain planning & purchasing.Sound understanding of planning, purchasing, repair management, and inventory control principles.Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.Flexible, team-oriented approach to enable working within a small group with shared responsibilities.Self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficient in standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), SUPPLY, Mx, SPM.Why Qantas?You'll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
