Senior Analyst, Data Science

RepairLink's Data and Modelling team collaborates with business stakeholders and pricing teams to offer cutting-edge data and modelling solutions. The role of Senior Data Science Analyst focuses on supporting the Insurance Pricing & Analytics team by developing end-to-end modelling frameworks to establish best practice risk and demand models, while aligning with business value.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
Continuously enhance the internal R-based modelling suite. Create modelling frameworks that automate model building and diagnostic processes. Provide technical advice and training on R and modelling best practices. Contribute to major pricing projects, such as full rate reviews. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as required. Experiment with new methodologies to improve modelling processes, such as data understanding, model interpretation, prediction accuracy, and efficiency. This role comes with the following benefits:

Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Subject Area (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Actuarial). 2 years of experience in an Advanced Analytical or Data Science role. Proficiency in coding languages (e.g., R, SAS, Python, VBA, C++, Java, Javascript, HTML). Effective communication skills for translating technical concepts. You would benefit from having:
