Key accountabilities: Designing and building an end-to-end pricing process that is best in class for all products across IAGBuilding and deploying ground up actuarial risk pricing and demand models using GBMs and GAMsDesigning pricing algorithms in accordance with our Pricing Principles and future strategyPricing portfolios as part of the migration onto new rating enginesWorking with a range of stakeholders across the business including product teams, portfolio teams, data and technology teamsThis is a permanent opportunity open to candidates based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) and Meanjin (Brisbane). About You Experience analysing complex data, preferably in general insurance actuarial or analytical rolesExperience with analytical software such as R, Python, SAS and/or SQLStrong verbal and written communication skills, in particular the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to a range of stakeholdersExperience across actuarial and technical pricing methods; Experience across design, build and evaluation of pricing models are highly advantageousInsurance industry domain knowledge and familiarity with relevant legislation and regulatory environment are desirableTertiary qualifications in Actuarial, Mathematical, Statistics, Data Science or other analytical disciplinesApplications close on Friday, 20 December 2024 at 23:59pm AEDT.
