We look to the future to guide the way we innovate, helping us stay relevant and responsive in an unpredictable industry.As the Senior Analyst Components, you will be responsible for demand supply planning of rotables and repairs through the development of part forecasts, supply planning, inventory optimisations and order recommendations for aircraft spare parts. In addition, the position will be required to provide logistical support in the management of light spares, charters and Fly Away Kits (FAKs) and pooling.You will also be responsible for the development of the 12 month rolling forecast plans whilst building an accurate forecast plan with maintenance parts and usage using both historical and deterministic planning.You'll have –Experience and knowledge in Supply Chain, preferably in planning, purchasing or repairsTertiary qualifications in business, finance or logistics disciplineProficient in company standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP SystemsProven analytical and problem solving skillsCustomer focused and ability to build constructive and effective relationshipsAbility to positively influence others in the achievement of operational objectivesEffective communication skills in both written and oral formsSelf-motivation and ability to work without supervisionSimilar experience in an aviation environment (desirable)SPM experience (desirable)Why Qantas?You'll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
