The overall goal of the AML Team is to assist front-line (1LOD) client servicing teams in respect of IQ EQ's responsibilities under the Isle of Man Anti-Money Laundering Code for Client Due Diligence (CDD), PEP and Sanctions Screening, Adverse Media. and Customer Risk Assessments.
The Isle of Man AML Team aims to support the senior management and Boards of Directors of IQ EQ (Isle of Man) Limited and First National Trustee Company Limited, and affiliated entities managed in Isle of Man, to fulfil their statutory and regulatory obligations by helping to ensure compliance with the laws, regulations, principles and codes established by our regulators.
Responsibilities: Undertaking a wide variety of administration tasks accurately and in a timely manner. To support the Company with its AML Code compliance and act as SME for client onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
Tasks: Primarily responsible for the onboarding of new Serviced Entities, including completion of CDD and KYC checks.Undertaking Customer Risk Assessments and SERR Assessments on higher risk and complex Serviced Entities, as required.Review of CDD and EDD to ensure in line with AML Code requirements.Perform PEP and Sanction screening and open source media screening on request, including setting up and monitoring Google alerts.Completion of both Trigger Event and Periodic reviews of Serviced Entities in line with applicable policies, procedures, and guidance notes.Assist with the coordination of monthly CDD meetings with administration teams regarding all outstanding CDD.Proactively contribute to project work as required.Reporting key stakeholders, including senior leadership, Risk and Compliance, and Group Risk & Compliance.Feedback to and coaching off administration teams in respect of themes, and areas of improvement of the onboarding and ongoing monitoring process.QualificationsExperience within the offshore finance Industry, ideally in a trust and corporate services business.Experience managing, and/or performing reviews and risk assessments.Knowledge of, and familiarity with, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to trust and corporate services businesses in Isle of Man, including standards and best practice of supra-national bodies such as FATF/Moneyval.Corporate Governance experience and an understanding and experience of risk mitigation.TechnicalKnowledge of IQ EQ's SERR system.Knowledge of IOM AML Code requirements and undertaking Customer Risk Assessments.Computer / program knowledgeA good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and IT systems generally.A good working knowledge of the IQ EQ systems: SERR, Inflow, and Imagein.Company, product, and market knowledgeStrong understanding of the Company's policies, procedures, and structure.Demonstratable understanding of complex structures, beneficial ownership, and tax driven ownership vehicles.Demonstratable understanding of exempt schemes, Class 3 services to exempt schemes, and investor due diligence requirements.Awareness of the fiduciary and fund sector and the services IQ EQ & FNTC offers.Management and leadershipActively work with your fellow team members to demonstrate collaboration, across all jurisdictions, to deliver business results and enhancements.Management of internal relationships within the Company.Contribute towards Team targets for completion of onboarding, trigger reviews, and periodic reviews of Serviced Entities.Undertake project work as required.LanguagesEnglish (second languages advantageous)Additional informationAt IQ EQ Group we want you to reach your full potential.
