Candidates must be Sydney based, or willing to relocate. About the role: The objective of the Senior AEM Developer is to lead the development and implementation of new solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable code based on technical requirements.
Serving as a key point of contact for the Virgin Australia Airlines and Virgin Frequent Flyer teams, you'll collaborate closely with the tech lead to maintain a customer-focused approach.
You will also lead developers and mentor junior developers and actively engage with the broader department to uphold Virgin Australia's vision, values, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
You'll be great for this role if you have: 3+ years' experience with AEM implementations, OSGI, Apache Sling, Dispatcher configurationDevOps tools experienceExtensive experience with Java 11, JUnit, Mockito, TDDExperience of front-end technologies such as ReactJS, HTML5 & CSS3Highly effective written and verbal communication skillsMentoring/training other developersExperience with agile development methodologies, specifically SCRUMDesirable but not required: Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) SitesExperience in airline or aviation technology environmentsProficiency working with Adobe Managed Services (AMS) and cloud-based platformsWhat you'll get from us: We're committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to):
