The department encompasses the Fire and Rescue Service, disaster management services, the Rural Fire Service and the State Emergency Service, and also supports other volunteer groups providing emergency response to Queenslanders. QFES is one department with many services, many capabilities and many partners. Purpose of the roleReporting regionally, the Senior Advisor (Workplace Standards) will work closely with Relations and Standards branch, QFES senior managers, staff, volunteers, partners and external stakeholders to implement workplace conduct strategies and services that build workforce capability in the area of performance and conduct management. You will be required to take a lead role in developing and coaching managers in their effective management of performance and conduct issues and to build a workforce capability that models professional and ethical behaviour and meets whole-of-government and departmental objectives.
