Senior Advisor (Work Health and Safety Education)An opportunity has become available for a Senior Advisor (Work Health and Safety Education) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willProvide advice to the Director Workforce Health and Safety, senior management, and other stakeholders throughout the health service on the identification of risks and opportunities.Guide the development of health service training packages, assessment, and recommendations through use of high-level knowledge of relevant Work Health and Safety legislation.Act as a key contact in relation to staff wellness management by providing extensive support for senior managers and clinicians.Interpret and apply WHS data to inform quality service delivery and to guide improvement and strategic planning activities related to all identified workforce safety key risks within the health service.About youTo be successful in this position you will require:Driver LicenceEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).BenefitsFlexible work optionsSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work Culture12.75% super17.5% leave loadingPermanent full timeBase salary ranging from $121,360 - $129,998 per annumAbout UsSafety is of the highest priority at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS).
