If so, come join the Vessel Management team within Maritime Safety Queensland. In this rewarding role, you'll be part of a dynamic team committed to ensuring the fleet of vessels and machinery owned and operated are maintained to high standards.
If you have strong knowledge in providing technical advice and assistance in buying, installing, operating, repairing and maintaining vessels and other equipment then you're strongly encouraged to apply.
Some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Managing the planning and maintenance of the maritime vessel fleet and associated plant and equipment.
• Contributing to the efficient procurement of new plant (e.g. vessels/vehicles/trailers/forklifts/trucks).
• Monitoring external technological advances.
• Provision of specialist advice and assistance on the safe operation of the maritime fleet.
• Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
