The focus of the Wellbeing Workforce is to provide support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns.Your Role:The MNR Wellbeing Workforce Team is seeking to fill two temporary vacancies (2.0FTE) for a Senior Advisor, Social Work.Responsibilities include:Provide professional supervision, direction, leadership and support to social workers within the region.Direct and support social workers and school management teams in assessing social work requirements and identifying appropriate responses and interventions to support students, their families and carers.Support delivery and continual improvement of social work services in schools by reviewing policies, operational standards and procedures.Identify professional development needs and proactively plan, implement and evaluate training and development initiatives for social work.Oversee the research, development, implementation and evaluation of validated clinical practices, policies and protocols relating to social work.Contribute to the development of state-wide programs, policies, operational standards and procedures for high-quality social work services.About You:We are looking for someone with:Recognised advanced professional expertise in leadership and professional supervision to social workers.Demonstrated competency to support social workers and school management teams in assessing social work requirements.Demonstrated initiative and leadership in developing and implementing social work service models.Proven ability to effectively manage projects designed to respond to government priorities.Demonstrated advanced interpersonal and communication skills.Interested?
