Salary range $106,534 to $117,716 per annum plus superannuation 242 Exhibition Street, Melbourne office location Position overview: Reporting to the Head of Assurance and Risk, and working closely with various stakeholders, the Senior Advisor Risk and Assurance supports the operations of the VBA's risk and assurance framework across VBA. As a subject matter expert, the Senior Advisor Risk and Assurance assists with the delivery of key functional requirements including risk assessments, examining control effectiveness and efficiency and monitoring and reporting on the VBA's risk profile.
The role works closely with business stakeholders across the organisation to facilitate activities that provide assurance to the VBA Commissioner and CEO, Audit and Risk Committee and Executive Leadership Team on the effectiveness of the VBA's risk management and assurance functions and compliance with Standing Directions under the Financial Management Act 1994.
Who we are looking for: Demonstrated experience leading and delivering organisation-wide risk management or assurance programs. Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, with experience in utilising a wide range of data to make recommendations. Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with, negotiate and influence a diverse range of stakeholders. Qualifications in management, business, or other disciplines with a risk management or assurance focus would be highly regarded. How to Apply What to include in your application:
