About the roleWe are looking for a

Senior Advisor Remuneration

to collaborate with leaders and the People Community to drive competitive remuneration solutions within a dynamic global business. You'll enjoy cross-functional collaboration and the chance to contribute to Rio Tinto's long-term success through innovative and sustainable remuneration practices.This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, global environment where you can directly influence and shape remuneration strategies that impact our significant and diverse workforce.Reporting to the APAC Remuneration Strategy & Solutions Manager, you will be:Consulting with leaders and employees on the interpretation and application of remuneration policies and programsPartnering with the People Community to facilitate the implementation and execution of remuneration policies and programs within the businessSupporting the development, maintenance and communications of key remuneration strategies, policies and processesEnsuring the effective deployment of remuneration policies and practices including compliance with legislative and governance requirementsProviding training to the People Community and the business as necessarySupporting global remuneration processes as required, including the Annual Remuneration Review, Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP) and Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) programsWorking collaboratively within and across teams to develop pragmatic and sustainable remuneration-related solutions and tools for the businessMaintaining strong partnerships with vendors and service partners, including submission of salary surveys as required

What you'll bringExperience working in a large multinational corporation with a focus on remuneration strategy and executionStrong advisory skills, to provide consistent and timely advice on remuneration policies and resolving complex issuesKnowledge of legal, governance, and compliance requirements related to remuneration programsAbility to collaborate with internal teams and maintain strong partnerships with vendors and service partnersAnalytical skills to evaluate effectiveness of remuneration programs and provide data-driven recommendationsStrong communication skillsProficiency in HR systems and data analysis tools, including advanced Excel skillsFlexibility to accommodate global meetings across various time zones on an infrequent basis
